Back in December, Shueisha revealed that the D.Gray-man manga would receive a new TV anime adaptation in 2016.
Throughout those years fans wondered if D. Gray-man should receive a remake or if the anime would never get a sequel. Now fans questions are answered as the sequel to the 2006 adaptation 'D. Gray-man Hallow' is coming out July 4th. The sequel will be a continuation from where the previous anime ended.
The cast of the 2016 adaptation includes:
Ayumu Murase (Shoyo Hinata from Haikyuu!!) as Allen Walker
Takuya Satou (Masamune Touya from Norn9) as Yuu Kanda
Natsuki Hanae (Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul) as Lavi
Ai Kakuma (Julis from The Asterisk War) as Lenalee Lee
Shinnosuke Tachibana (Tomoe from Kamisama Kiss) as Howard Link
So let's all sit back and prepare our hype thrusters for D. Gray-man making its comeback in 5 weeks! Here's a nostalgia reminder for all you fans.
